Abortion... when does life begin?

when does life
begin?

Psalm 51:5 --- I was born a sinner - yes from the moment my mother conceived me.

The Bible is clear - life begins at conception... not merely at birth as some people want you to believe. Of course, conception is when the sperm and egg meet approximately 9 months before birth.

did God want me
to be born?

Psalm 139:13-16 --- You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex. Your workmanship is marvelous - and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being born in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

God knew everything about you before you were born, He wanted you to be born, and He had a plan for your life before you ever arrived.

Can't I do whatever
I want with
my body?

1 Corinthians 6:12-13 --- You may say, "I am allowed to do anything." But I reply, "Not everything is good for you." And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything . . . . But our bodies were not made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 --- Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

Our bodies are God's temple. His Holy Spirit lives inside of us. We must do what honors Him and pleases Him.

so abortion is
wrong for sure?

Genesis 9:5 --- Murder is forbidden.

Proverbs 24:11-12 --- Rescue those unjustly sentenced to death; don't stand back and let them die. Don't try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn't know about it. For God knows all hearts, and He sees you. He keeps watch over your soul, and He knows you knew! And He will judge all people according to what they have done.

Every baby needs a hero. A baby is totally defenseless. It can't even raise a hand to defend itself. He or she needs someone to stand in between them and danger. God expects for the parents to do that.

what if I've
already had
one done?

Isaiah 1:18 --- No matter how deep the stains of your sin, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool.

1 John 1:9 --- If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 3:18 --- May you have the power to understand (as all God's people should) how high, how long, how high, and how deep is the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it.

God's can forgive anything that you've done in your past.

If you are God's child, all you must do is turn from your sin and confess them to God.

If you're not a Christian, you can be at any time. God loves you. You can see just in the verses above how He treats His children. I hope you'll give your life to Christ. You'll never get loved by anybody else near as well as you will from God. He'll treat you better than anybody else ever has. just a thought

Jeremiah 1:5 --- I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb.
